Diagnostics

Increasingly, technologies are being developed to identify disease states such as diabetes, cancer, and infectious diseases, from blood, saliva, urine, or other body fluids. When cells multiply or die they shed related DNA and RNA. Global diagnostic screens are being developed for  predictive or interventional medicine to exploit this phenomenon, but the systems currently  are encumbered by the need for large blood samples. This fact necessitates difficult storage and costly evaluation procedures.  As with Forensic analysis, quantity and quality of sample DNA is key in downstream diagnostic analysis, and Diomat’s unique abilities can enhance sample preparation.
